Description
Vastedda is one of the few examples of stretched-curd sheep cheese. In the past, it used to be produced in summer as an attempt to recover the freshly made pecorino cheeses that ended up fermented due to the high summer heat. Prepared today with the sheep milk from Valle del Belìce, it should be consumed within a few weeks of production to enjoy its extraordinary fragrance fully. Net Weight 0,500 Kg
